FEATURED ARTIST - KILTER
RED BULL: When and where did you get started as a producer, what inspired/influenced you, and how has your sound changed to what we hear today?
NED EAST (KILTER): I first started producing in the last couple of years of high school, I would have been 17. I started off making electro/house mixtapes using Sony Acid ... and then began to make my own edits and tracks to put in them. ...I soon started getting into producers like Hudson Mohawke, Flying Lotus and Rustie. By the time I got my hands on Ableton Live for my 18th birthday I was really into the underground beats and hip hop scene and kinda took things from there production-wise. -Interview on Redbull.com
